School Rules

1. Every student should carry his / her almanac cum prayer book each day.
2. Parents are requested to avail school bus facilities for transportation of student/ wards, subject to availability of seat. However, in case of students who come to school in their own transport should arrive at school 5 minutes before the start of the Home Room Period.
3. The warning bell before a class or assembly is a signal for all to go to the assembly or to their respective classrooms. This should be done promptly and in silence. As soon as they are in their classes students must get their books ready for the period.
4. Changing of classrooms between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner.
We believe that education should foster independent thinking, exploration and experimentation as a life long process. With these aims constantly in mind it is our endeavour to develop in each student the following:
5. Students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions. Students who are not in proper uniform will not be allowed to enter into their classrooms.
6. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.
7. No shouting or whistling is allowed in or around the school building. Running in corridors is strictly prohibited.
8. It is strictly forbidden to throw anything at any one.
9. Care must be taken of all school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage things belonging to others. Damage done even by accident should be reported at once to the class teacher, or to the Principal.
10. Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instrument to school.
11. No books, (other than text books or library books) magazine or papers may be brought to the school without the principal's permission.
12. Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted.
13. Cycles must be locked. Students may not ride around in the school compound on bicycles. Use of scooters / mopeds is strictly prohibited.
14. Students who come to school in the care of servants should never leave before the servants arrive. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who go home alone should not loiter about on the way but be prompt in returning straight home. Students are warned not to buy anything, especially eatables from street vendors.
15. Our students should observe polite manner wherever they go; they should always remember that the school is judged by their conduct. They should greet their teachers when they meet them. Bullying and use of foul language are punishable offences.
16. Firing crackers or splashing colours during Diwali / Holi in the school premises is strictly forbidden. Non-compliance of these instructions can result in expulsion from the school.
17. Students are not allowed to bring mobile phones to school and it is strictly prohibited.
18. Students should attend all festivals celebrated in the school and if absent will have to pay a fine.
